Meet the Greenfield Seitz Team

Our staff has an average of more than 30 years experience in the investment business. We are highly independent, which means we have no conflicts of interest and we have the freedom to invest each client’s assets in the best possible manner. Our long-term nature promotes strong ties to our clients.

 YANCEY T. SEITZ
Investment Management Experience: 38 years

Mrs. Seitz has been with Greenfield Seitz Group for more than 35 years beginning immediately after graduating from college and has been an integral member ever since. Over the years, Mrs. Seitz has adopted many valuable investment traits, such as patience and conviction. She prides herself on her close family-like relationships with GSCM investors. Having spent the last two decades working to grow the assets of our investors, she believes it is the investor’s money but her responsibility.

In 2010, she was named Manager of the Decade by PSN Informa, which is the award for best 2000–2009 returns out of over 1,000 equity managers. Greenfield Seitz Capital was named 2010 Top Independent Advisors by Barron’s, Wealth Manager, Texas Monthly, and Financial Advisor magazine. In 2011, Yancey was again awarded PSN Manager of Decade (2001-2010) and was the only manager to repeat, as well as the only Large-Cap manager.

Prior to starting her investment career in 1983, Yancey grew up in the investment world with her father, Richard Tighe, who founded and managed Kansas City Brokerage, an investment firm. Mrs. Seitz graduated from University of Oklahoma in 1983 with a degree in Finance.

 

STUART E. GREENFIELD, CFA
Investment Management Experience: 25 years

Mr. Greenfield joined the Greenfield Seitz Group in 2002. Having grown up in the investment world, he developed a passionate interest early in his life.

From 1996 to 1998, Stuart worked at Luther King Capital Management, a $6 billion investment advisory firm in Ft. Worth. From 1998 to 2000, Stuart was a securities analyst in New York at Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette. While at DLJ, Stuart received All-Star Analyst votes. Later, he joined Bear Stearns in equity research, covering internet infrastructure stocks. In 2001, he returned to Texas to manage Discovery Technology, a $30 million hedge fund, which benefited under his net-short position in the tech sector during the 2001 decline.

In addition to authoring numerous equity research reports, Mr. Greenfield has been quoted in financial publications such as The Wall Street Journal, Barron’s, Institutional Investor and the CFA Magazine. Stuart was named the “Best Wealth Manager” in the over $5 million investor category by D Magazine. In 2011 and 2012, Stuart was named PSN Manager of the Decade.

Stuart graduated from TCU in 1998 with a degree in Finance. While attending TCU, he was an analyst for the $3 million Educational Investment Fund and was later elected the Portfolio Manager. Stuart is a regular speaker on investments at TCU Business School. He was awarded the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) charter in 2003, which requires a rigorous 3-year examination process. Mr. Greenfield is a member of the CFA Institute, the Dallas Society of Financial Analysts, and past member of New York Society of Security Analysts.

 

KATHY E. TUTT
Investment Experience: 30 years

Mrs. Tutt joined the Greenfield Seitz Group in 1997. She also spent 4 years as a Fixed Income trader at Shay Financial Services. Kathy traded fixed income securities for commercial banks, saving & loans, and thrifts in a five-state area. Prior to Shay Financial Services, she spent 7 years at a major Dallas company in their priority customer service department. Mrs. Tutt specializes in fixed income and client relations.

 

ERIC J. MEYER
Investment Experience: 29 years

Mr. Meyer spent 10 years in the financial planning department of a major broker/dealer before he joined the Greenfield Seitz Group in 2002. Prior to joining the Greenfield Seitz Group, Eric held management positions at Merrill Lynch’s Financial Planning center and its Institutional 401(k) center. Mr. Meyer is focused on the areas of client services and financial planning. He graduated from the University of Northern Colorado in 1993 with a degree in Finance.
